Are not all Christians non secular? That appears like a strange query. Most would compare spirituality with Christianity, yet it may be possible to possess one and not the other. To be a religious Christian means to be lead and to live by the meaning of God. It suggests permitting God’s spirit, that's living within you, to lead your choices rather than counting generally on your logic and intellect. Galatians 5:16 claims that if we are lead by the spirit we won't meet the lust of the flesh. If you had been on the Titanic and the ship was sinking, will you have stayed on the ship if a life raft was offered to you? So when society is pulling you down by the weight of its corruption, why not take the life raft that Jesus offers? It was in Jesus’ day, and it's in ours.

It takes quieting our minds and stilling our hearts to a religious Christian. There's a spirit of greediness, of greediness and of lasciviousness that sweeps through each society. And it's a spirit which leaves you crying with disappointment because, like walking round a room without a light on, it isn't anything but a blind chase after shadows. Don't be like those Isaiah describes : ‘He has blinded their eyes and deadened their hearts, so that they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts.’ You might think you can go it alone for a bit, particularly when you're young and energized, but at some point, your techniques catch you up and you realize what a mess you made of things. Fact and our lives aren't as crucial or real as we are given to understand. Notice this next time you study, or are in the vicinity of, an expert.

For info on fact, you need to read another fascinating article I wrote titled The Brain, Where Fact Appears ? Greet each event and skirmish with the assumption that fact isn't solid and life isn't a rather serious affair, and you'll be unable to hold back the laughter. *In some ( obscure ) languages, the kinds of words ( as in the conjugations of verbs, and what pronouns refer to ) aren't by time and sex, they are say, by physical distance one is away ( from the speaker ), or the degree of family proximity, or somebody's rank. *When a foreign idea blossoms, we put Galileo on trial for his life in our heads. They receive psychological telepathy as photos. Wrap your head around that one! *Before the age of 2, before language, our minds are structured parallel to ‘out there.’ That explains why mystic perception and mystic experiences are so common and so correct in babies. *After the age of 2, once we've been reprogrammed to categorize-by naming and labeling things in our language–our inner being rails against whatever goes against the grain of how we have those labels prepared.

Fortunately, we will regain a connection to the religious side of our being by exercising. The difference is that religious exercises don't need physical exhaustion. We regain our connection to the spirit by being still and quiet. Even with the above experience of such a connection to the spirit, for the majority of my adult existence I didn't realise there may be a religious facet to earning money.
